Yael stone, who is a New York City based Australian resident, played Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael was awarded her NIDA diploma. At a very young age, Yael has been lucky enough to work with the best storytellers in Australia, brilliant stars of the stage and visionaries working behind the scenes of film as well as theatre and television. Yael leads a highly accomplished career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael decided to make New York City her home following the Brooklyn Academy of Music produced the critically-acclaimed production. Yael co-founded The Cannery. The Cannery is located within Bushwick Brooklyn and operates from there to support the creative process, and to create new writing.
