Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born the 31st of January 1974. She's best known as Bo in the Showcase Television series Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay, the producer and director of the drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her earliest memories of childhood, like taking part in rehearsals of plays. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials when she was an infant. She earned a Bachelors in Arts from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she met him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop located in Los Angeles. The couple got engaged the year 2009 and wed at a civil wedding ceremony in December of the same year. They renewed their vows April 10, 2011 in Fredericton, after the woman was converted to Judaism. Silk gave birth to the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk is famous for her tv role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she received nominations from her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. She was given the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk made it known to her fans that she was pregnant at the beginning of January 2013, during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th 2013 that the show was coming back for a fourth season of the production. Season Four began on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN's Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved TV Couples. E! named them as the most popular Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has a huge following on Facebook and Twitter because of its success.
